Terms + Conditions

PRICING:

Every effort is made to ensure that the prices quoted to you are correct; however Robyn's Exquisite Journeys acts only as an agent and relies on information provided to us from the suppliers of the travel services and products. We will bring to your attention any change in price made prior to you completing your booking and paying the balance of the price.  Prices are not subject to increase after you make full payment, except for charges resulting from increases in government-imposed taxes or fees. 

RESPONSIBILITY

I always do my best to make sure your travel arrangements are satisfactory. However, Robyn's Exquisite Journeys does not own or operate any entity which provides goods and services for your travel including without limitation, lodging facilities, airline, vessel, motor coach, or other transportation companies, guides or guide services, local ground operators, providers or organizers of optional excursions, food service providers, etc. All such persons and entities are independent contractors with no relation to Robyn's Exquisite Journeys.

BOOKING PROCEDURE:

Once we have discussed your vacation and come to final decisions on your travel plans, I will send a credit card authorization form for payment. This can be returned via fax, e-mail or phone. Once received your payments will be made according to the vendor schedules. I will send you your confirmations to review and double check for accuracy. Once payments have been made,  a contract will exist between you and each of the suppliers, effective from the date printed on your invoice. The terms and conditions of each supplier you have booked with will apply to your booking. Once the contract is made, the airlines, accommodation provider and any other supplier is responsible for providing you with what you have booked. Your final travel documents will be mailed out or sent via e-mail 1-2 weeks prior to your travel date. I am available for assitance with additional arrangements or requests at all times before and during your travels. 

AIRFARE CONDITIONS

Many airfares are subject to strict conditions regarding amendments, cancellations and refunds. In addition airlines impose taxes fees and charges. It is your responsibility to ensure the type of airfare you purchase is suitable for your needs. Most fares are non refundable. Once ticketed, airline change fees and fare differences may apply for any ammendments made to the booking.

CANCELLATION FEES

Robyn's Exquisite Journeys understands the life happens and sometimes your well thought out plans do not work out. In light of this, I do not personally charge any fees for cancellation. However, if you cancel your booking you may incur cancellation charges from the individual vendors. The amount of this charge will vary depending on when the cancellation is made and the terms and conditions of the supplier of travel services or product. Any refunds due will be posted to the credit card used for booking within 3-6 weeks of cancellation. 

INSURANCE

Robyn's Exquisite Journeys strongly recommends that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of paying a deposit. Travel Guard and Travel Ex are my preferred suppliers and offer a variety of plans to fit various budgets and coverage needs. It is nescessary to purchase insurance within two weeks of your deposit date in order for pre-existing conditions to be covered. 

PASSPORTS AND VISAS:

All individuals departing from the United States of America must be in possession of a valid passport. Please check that your passport is valid for 6 months or longer than your intended travel time. Many countries do require validity well after your intended travel dates. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that you have valid travel documentation, including but not limited to passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. You are responsible for confirming with the United States Department of State or representative government agency of the country to which you are traveling to confirm the requirements for visas and/or other requirements for admission to your destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility. A government issued ID is required for travel within the USA, however depending on the State of departure or arrival, a passport may be required instead of a driver’s license. \Also please note that "Passport Cards" are valid for land and sea entries to some countries, but they are not an acceptable ID for air travel. 

HEALTH AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations and to ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation. Please advise of any special requirements you may have, for example, special meals, medical requirements and so on. 

LIABILITY:

Robyn's Exquisite Journeys is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any travel service provider or of any third party. We are not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay, or damage to person or property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from, but not limited to, acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other means of transportation, or for any failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time. Also be advised that certain foreign facilities such as air-conditioning systems in public places, hotels and motor coaches may not be up to U.S. standards. If due to weather, flight schedules or other uncontrollable factors you are required to spend additional night(s), you will be responsible for your own hotel, transfers and meal costs. Baggage is entirely at owner's risk. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. In booking and signing your authorization form, you specifically agree that Robyn's Exquisite Journeys is not liable for any consequential loss or damage.
